MOWING
When you're mowing the lawn, what do you think about ? There are a few things people really don't know about their back yards. Here are some key factors we keep in mind when growing a healthy lawn.
The species of your lawn, the variety at which it has developed, it's usage and the current weather can create a great mix for a plentiful or a disastrous landscape. Other forgotten factors are if you have a regularly used sprinkler system, when and if you fertilize, and the different times of year. The season effects the rate of which your lawn grows. Grasses that are in good shape and getting the right amount of fertilizer and water will naturally grow faster and need more mowing as well as new lawns or older established lawns do in the summer. For all those things you never considered; that is what we're here for. So as we get to know you, and your lawn, you'll be noticing a difference.

TRIMMING, EDGING AND WEEDING
Do you have weeds growing in your lawn or in your plant beds?
You'll find some of the more common types of weeds in the SW Florida area are
popping up:
Goose grass or Elusion Indicia: A narrow leafed dense prostrate summer annual.
Johnson grass or Sorghum Halepense: A wide-bladed aggressively spreading perennial.
(Because it is perennial this weed would need to
be hand pulled)
Large Crabgrass or Crop grass: A wide bladed prostrate summer annual.
Sandbur or Sandspur: A summer annual with a prostrate growth habit
and sharp extended points which can cause painful
injury to unprotected feet or ankles.
Torpedo grass or Panicum Repens: An aquatic perennial grass.
